This curriculum details imaging tests and has two major sections; the first intended for Medical Professionals (students, residents physicians), the second, written in lay terms, for Patients. The "Professional" section lists the Indications, Contraindications, and Limitations for all tests individually, outlines expected Patient comfort level, has Descriptions of the way the test is performed and offers images from a normal study so the user can become familiar with "the normal". This curriculum covers all Plain films, Fluoroscopic studies, Computed tomography(CT) of the brain, spine, chest, abdomen and extremities, Ultrasound (US) including Doppler US, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of brain, chest, abdomen, spine and extremities, Angiography of all areas, and Nuclear medicine tests. The Patient section offers a Description of the test with comfort level included and gives patient preparation instructions. There is a space for the clinician to add in additional instructions, date and time of test, patients name and a space for the patient’s signature. This sheet can be printed out for the patient when a clinician orders an imaging test.
