This integrated curriculum provides "one stop shopping" for learning optimal patient assessment, workup, staging, treatment, and prognosis for the frequent complications of Smoking. Radiologic, Clinical, and Basic Science aspects (Anatomy, Pathophysiology) are included resulting in a truly integrated comprehensive offering. Interactive case-based problems are presented with additional didactic notes. The Q and A format of the cases gives the user the opportunity to make recommendations for patient workups, make findings on images, and suggest diagnosis and patient treatment. The Menu of Radiologic tests, including CXR, CHEST CT, HIGH RES CT, MRI, MRA, V/Q scans, PAgrams, is detailed and algorithms are offered to promote optimal use. Numerous images and image galleries aid the user in learning the typical appearance of common sequelae of smoking, for example, Lung cancer, Pancoast’s tumor, Esophageal cancer, Bullous emphysema, Aortic Aneurysm, COPD, Mycetoma. Comprehensive discussion notes and Differential diagnosis lists are offered.
